It is very
important that I photograph baby between 5- 12 days old so that we can capture
the best images possible for you. At this age babies like to sleep which means
that we can create those classic sleepy posed photographs of your baby. It also
means we don’t have to worry about colic, as that can make baby very restless.
I am a fully mobile photographer, meaning I come to your home to photograph your newborn. During your session you will be able to relax while you watch
your baby having their photos taken. There will be a chance to get sibling and
baby and also parent and baby photographs in the session. We will also talk
before hand in your consultation call about preparation and what
sort of things to have ready. I will also have a chat with you about what
sort of style your looking for from your photography and where you are looking
to place your photos in your home, this will give me a good idea of how to
shoot your session and what colours to use to compliment your home.
My number one
focus above all is that your baby is safe, happy and comfortable throughout the
whole session. Baby is very, very new and will have no control whatsoever. I
will support your baby throughout each pose, and will always be close to baby
when he/she is in a posed position. Please be aware that any of those unique, self-supporting
photographs you see are a few images in one to keep baby safe (keep an eye out
for a blog post on this very soon).
